This site, and the group associated with it, was created in Summer 2018 (and rebooted in Fall 2023 after an austerity-driven pause) to facilitate collaboration among instructors of several multi-section core courses in the English department at Hunter College. We will serve ENGL 252, 280, 285, 304, 306, 307, and 320.

This site was originated by Jeff Allred, Associate Professor in English and Associate Professor of Digital Humanities at the CUNY Graduate Center. It is currently administered by Gavin Hollis, Associate Professor in English and the department’s Director of Undergraduate Studies (2024-2025).

This site will grow into a major hub for collaborating on and sharing projects related to literary pedagogy as well as basic, practical information for instructors at Hunter. To access material relevant to a particular course, refer to the courses area in the top menu.
